Pass the NyQuil
I have been very busy so here is the catch up of it all.
Friday...went to work, gave my notice, and trainned what could end up being my replacement.
Saturday...started getting congested, James called to wake me at 9am after getting 5 hours of sleep to tell me to go to the bank, and then I worked at night.
Sunday...was awakened at 9am after yet again only 5 hours of sleep to drop James off at Uhaul to pick up a truck, got home and got another call to bring James his drill because he broke the key in the lock of the storage unit. Then I tried to take a nap. It only took them maybe 2 hours to fill the truck and pick up lunch to come home. Then they packed more at the house.
There goes sleep. I must pause now and say that my whiney butt is forgetting to mention that all the loading start to finish was done while I laid down on the couch complaining about being tired and sick. I can't believe James didn't yell at me to get up and help. Maybe he is getting soft or more likely yet he is getting sick of my idea of moving (getting in the way, whining, and not being able to do a thing).
So I went to work still lacking sleep yet again and bought some energy drinks to get through the night.
Monday...woke up at 8am to hear everyone else packing more. Felt guilty that once again I wasn't made help; even though I got little sleep and feel even sicker. So I woke up and took some medicine and ate breakfast while they finished.
Off we went; James drove the Uhaul and I drove my Jeep. The whole drive I was worrying more about how the house would look. We got there at noon and honestly at first I hated it. It had to have been because I wanted to hate it because after a short time I really liked it.
It has a few things I don't like but as a whole I can't wait. Half of our move in was in rain sprinkles, but the girls did get to meet some neighborhood kids so they got more excited too. We dropped off the Uhaul and decided to skip the unpacking we had planned on and just drive back and go to bed.
Tuesday...James was off to work at 5am and I always wake up when he leaves (darn man needs every light in the house on and leaves them on when he leaves) . I upon waking realise that I feel like crap and James says I should stay home from work and drink NyQuil all day.
I think this sounds like heaven and tell him he should save gas money and just stay at the new house since we moved some beds into it already. He doesn't want to wait till the 22nd to do the final move with the rest of the stuff so I tell him we will try to figure out how to have him not have to drive back here that much more since now we are just staying here so I can finish out my 2 weeks notice and make some money while I have a job.
Plus the fact that I have to work the day of the final move so I will not have to help yet again. The kids have off of school all week so I spent my waking hours telling them what to clean or get ready next. All I did was dishes and feed them meals. If I wasn't sick this would have been a mini vacation.
Countdown...
12 days till the move
5 days of school
8 days of work (unless they schedule me Tuesday again)
4 days James has to drive back and forth (unless they schedule me Tuesday again)
