I was just checking out a website that helps people get back the diminished value of your car if you get in an accident and it is not your fault. It made me realize once again how lucky I was when the girl hit my Jeep. I was parked in a parking lot with a stick shift car in front of me. The vehicles were facing each other head on. The girl was not paying attention when she started her car and it was still in gear. She had left it in gear when she parked. As she started it her car jumped forward and slammed into the front of my Jeep.

Luckily I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee so I did not get much damage. When she backed up her car it ripped my front vanity plate and it's holder off of my bumper. Nothing really happened to my vehicle. I just had to buy a new license plate holder and vanity plate. Her car on he other hand was a mess. The bumper was pushed in and the hood was bent in half. This is also why we always drive SUVs. That and the need for 4WD.

I was freaking out when it happened. I was very worried that when the two vehicles got pulled apart my poor baby would be hurt. Yes, I am very protective of my Jeep. I would have been very upset if there was more damage to my vehicle. That is why this website seems so cool to me. Thank goodness I did not need them but if you ever get in a car accident or you have been in one in the last four years you should check them out.
