I just came across a pretty neat site named RepairPal. It has tons of automotive info. I like that you can add a question to the question and answer section for free. Most sites charge you. It also has recalls and a search for a local garage. Say you are looking for a Dallas auto repair place. They will show you a map of what is around.

My favorite part of the site though is the RepairPrice Estimator. You select your Make, Model, Year, and Repair. Then it shows you what parts are needed, an estimate on the parts, and an estimate on the labor. This will be a huge help in the future.

Many places try to tell you that you need more more parts than are needed and over charge you. This website will help you go in ready with an idea of what it should all cost.
