Well, Chicago did not get the Olympics in 2016. It would have been neat to have them here but on the up side...We will not go more broke building places that will never get used again. Most places go bankrupt right after hosting the Olympics.

I do not like being wasteful so I really wish that they would just hold the Olympics in the same place each time. Greece would be the obvious choice since that is where it all began. Maybe they could have a different kind of "host country". Each time a different country could plan out the opening night show. In a time when everyone is going green it just seems too wasteful to have it in a different place each time.
