Summer School Sign Up
Well yesterday after school was crazy. I was rushing around trying to get everything done. The school had summer school sign up online. There are only openings for 15-20 kids per class so I had to hurry and get the girls all registered. They posted the link at 4pm and then you had to race everyone else to get your family registered and then each kid registered before you even pick the classes. The girls wanted to do the full maximum classes so they will be going to both sessions.
School is letting out late because of make up snow days so the first session is only 2 weeks long so they can still have a week break before it begins. Then there is a week break before the second session which is three weeks. For both sessions they are taking the maximum three classes. It starts at 9am and ends at 12. They are a bit worried about when my parents come to visit but I told them that they will just have to wait to do things until 12. That should not be a big deal. If they want to do full day things we can do them on the weekend or take a day off. It is just summer school anyway.
The girls are excited about their classes. This is their full schedule. Noelle has one less class because they can go practice with the band teacher during any of the class times. He has not sent anything home or told the kids it costs anything so I assume it is free or the $2 charge the other classes are. All he has said is that he hopes to see them in the summer. I assume they will send something home eventually.

Then after getting them all signed up it was time for soccer practice. Neona freaked out and cried herself to sleep saying she wanted to quit soccer. I told her she could stay home from the practice since the coach does not really do much during practice but she had to go to the games.
She wanted to be in it and now she has to finish the season because she is part of a team.
Soccer practice the kids played kickball on the baseball diamond instead. I really do not get that but oh well. The practice even went over 15 minutes because he wanted to finish the game. Then as we were trying to hurry home to start dinner the coach came over to tell me that they decided to just do the make up game next Thursday instead of using it as a practice so they can get the season over with.
Well at least that means we can start staying up late on Fridays sooner.
The girls missed their "party night". LOL
